I’ve written about networking more than once because it can be intimidating, especially if you’re an introvert (hence the book, Networking For Introverts). Often the key is being relaxed and personable; however, it’s not always clear what to say or where to start.
If you’re looking for a quick read, I’ve found a great list of places to start—23, to be precise. Business Insider published an article on how to begin those seemingly impossible conversations in ways that are low-risk and failsafe, from “What do you do for fun when you’re not working?” to “Are you having problems with the Wi-Fi?” Or, quite simply, “Hello.” Always a good place to start.
